Modern Slavery Act

At Different Approach Media, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all areas of our business. We recognise our responsibility to ensure that modern slavery, in any form including forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour, has no place within our organisation or our supply chains.

Our Business

Different Approach Media is a UK-based digital consultancy offering services in social media strategy, content creation, branding, and digital marketing. While our operations are primarily service-based and conducted from the UK, we work with a range of contractors, software providers, creative partners, and consultants both locally and internationally.

Our Supply Chain

Given the nature of our business, we operate with a relatively simple supply chain consisting mostly of professional services, SaaS (software-as-a-service) platforms, and creative freelancers. However, we remain vigilant to the risks of modern slavery across all tiers of our supply chain.
We expect all of our suppliers and partners to share our commitment to ethical practices and compliance with local and international labour laws.

Policies and Commitments

We have the following policies and commitments in place to support our approach to combating modern slavery:

Zero-Tolerance Policy toward modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking in any form.

Supplier Due Diligence processes to ensure our partners operate ethically and in compliance with labour laws.

Clear Expectations communicated to contractors and suppliers about our ethical standards and commitment to human rights.

Whistleblowing Channel for reporting any concerns relating to unethical behaviour or suspected modern slavery.

Risk Assessment and Management

We assess the risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chain as low, given the professional nature of our work. However, we remain proactive in reviewing our supplier relationships and the regions in which they operate.

We prioritise working with UK-based or internationally reputable service providers with strong corporate responsibility practices.

Training and Awareness

To further support our commitment, we ensure team members and decision-makers involved in supplier relationships are informed about the risks of modern slavery and know how to identify potential red flags.

Next Steps

As we continue to grow, we are committed to:
Strengthening due diligence procedures across new supplier relationships.
Documenting and updating supplier expectations regarding ethical labour standards.
Monitoring industry developments and adjusting our practices accordingly.
